I started with a distressed navy panel that I stamped all over with an old snowflake stamp I picked up at Michaels in their $$ bin. I stamped this in white then embossed with an irredescent powder to create the starry, snowy night time sky. Next I created the image panel by stamping the Christmas Door Image by Digi Doodle, coloring it with Copics, then finishing it off with punched foliage, beads, puffy liquid applique and two kinds of glitter, fine and chunky for the snow. This door image was cut out then mounted on foam tape for a raised diminsional effect. The card was finished with a bow and large punched snowflakes, and gold cord with two mini jingle bells. The last thing I added was a few stray white plastic snowflakes. What a fun fun project. I love those two little bells, they really do jingle.
What I Used On My Card:
Christmas Door Image: by Digi Doodle
Snowflake background stamp: Michael's $$ bin.
Foliage Punch: Martha Stewart
Snowflake Punch: Marvy Uchida
Ribbon, gold cord, jingle bells, beads and plastic snowflakes: Michaels
Glitter by Barbara Trombly's Art Glitter Faux Snow
Digi Doodle Shop's Christmas Door
