I must be getting all watered up for that corned beef and cabbage next week because I can’t seem to get St Patrick’s Day out of my mind as evidenced by today’s card.   Ever do one of those projects where it just doesn’t go together right but the more you work on it, the worse it gets?  Well that’s this card.  I had such high hopes for it in the beginning but what you see is what you get.  Oh well, as my darling hubby would say, “Everyday can’t be Christmas.”    The images colored with Copics, are from Sassy Cheryl’s Digitals and can be found here:

She Sells Sassy Shells

With spring fast approaching and summer running close behind, I thought I’d get a jump on the seasons with this cute little Sassy Cheryl Digital image.  Don't you just love this little beach girl paired with a backdrop of Stampington sea shells? This image reminds me of the book, ‘The Shell Seekers’ by Rosamond Pilcher.   The shell embellishment was stamped multiple times, in various colored blues and green inks, cut out, layered and mounted on dimensionals.   The other shells as a background were stamped direct to the paper.   The little girl was stamped and layered on a Nestabilities Blossom die.  She was colored with copics.  The dew drops were colored with Copics and all shells were glittered with stickles.   The shell embellishment was finished with a Martha Stewart foliage punch and real sea shells.
